Jackson Katz created Brutus VIII as a reaction to a decade safely in the background, drumming for LA bands Surf Curse, Current Joys and Slow Hollows.
Katz threw himself into a No-Wave exploration of loneliness, exclusion, and—through jarring live performances to his cult following in LA and New York.
